Attempt to start GoFundMe campaign

There have been billions of dollars spent on the relief efforts here in Ukraine. We have been in Ukraine spending our savings for months at this point and we are still not verified by the website GoFundMe as being in Ukraine or part of the Ukraine humanitarian relief efforts. There is a list of “verified” charities on GoFundMe and we have been contacting customer support trying to get the official verification for a while now. Hopefully we can get this soon so it will add another level of official verification that can build trust with potential donors and help continue to raise funds for all of the volunteer networks and specific operations we have been a part of.

*UPDATE*

I have been denied by GoFundMe after 3 months of “review.” They say that I’m helping the military, even though this is not true. I asked for veterans to volunteer to come here and help, so they thought I meant to come here and fight. This is ridiculous. It’s just one avenue of funding that is closed. We go further than most charities into contested areas and this may also be why they denied me.
